Intended Purpose
It is used in combination with endoscope for cutting polyps or other redundant tissues with high frequency current in digestive tract.
Intended Clinical Benefits
It allows complete, precise and efficient removal of polyps or other redundant tissues during endoscopies.
Indications
Lesions in the gastrointestinal tract, including polyps, adenomas, and other redundant tissues.
Target Population
It can be used in the adult populations.
Contraindications
1. Patients who have the contraindications for digestive endoscopic examination;
2. Patients with the trend of hemorrhage, time elongated of hemorrhage or cruor, hemoblast reduction, or elongated time of thrombin, cannot recover after medical therapy;
3. Patients with deteriorated polyp cancer;
4. The place easy for perforation;
5. The polyp base (O.D. more than 2cm) is too large and is confirmed not to be removed;
6. Others can be judged by professional physicians according to patient’s actual conditions.
Potential Complications
Hemorrhage, perforation, and post polypectomy syndrome such as abdominal pain, fever, tenderness, leucocytosis and peritoneal inflammation.
Intended Users
The operator of this instrument must be a physician or medical personnel under the supervision of a physician and must have received sufficient training in clinical endoscopic technique.
